RHTC conducted one-day professional training entitled “Medical abortion: method, provision of services» on 18 April,2011
RHTC conducted one-day professional training for medical providers (obstetricians gynecologists) entitled “Medical abortion: method, provision of services» in collaboration with the obstetrics and gynecology department of SUMF ,,N.Testemiţanu,, and under financial support of the ,,Shell-Farm,,pharmaceutical company . It was hold on the base of ,,Becor,, company office, on Aprilie, 18,2011. There were 20 of obstetricians and gynecologists from MTA of Chisinau (Centru, Botanica, Rîşcani, Buiucani, Ciocana).
Workshop agenda included:
- Medical abortion: history and development
- Mechanism of action of Mifepriston/Misoprostol
- Diagnosis of pregnancy and definition of pregnancy term
- Indication and contraindication
- Protocol of 1-st tri of pregnancy medical abortion
- Sides effects and complications, management
- Counseling
- Follow up visit, post abortion contraception
The professional training were conducted by:
