During this fourth week the woman will have monthly bleeding.<\/li>\n<li>Also called Ortho Evra and Evra.<\/li>\n<li>Works primarily by preventing the release of eggs from the ovaries (ovulation).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"su-accordion su-u-trim\">\n<div class=\"su-spoiler su-spoiler-style-default su-spoiler-icon-caret my-custom-spoiler su-spoiler-closed\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\" data-anchor-in-url=\"no\"><div class=\"su-spoiler-title\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\"><span class=\"su-spoiler-icon\"><\/span>How Effective?<\/div><div class=\"su-spoiler-content su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\">\n<p><em>Effectiveness depends on the user:<\/em> Risk of pregnancy is greatest when a woman is late to change the patch.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>As commonly used, about 7 pregnancies per 100 women using the combined patch over the first year.
